Listening to Music Can Boost Productivity
So what kind of music do you listen to every day? Each morning before I get ready to work I get my music playlist ready and start listening to my tunes just to get my mood going. In fact, it’s pretty helpful to listen to music while you work, it has been proven that listening to music can boost productivity and focus.
According to Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience:
The cognitive effects of listening to background music on older adults: processing speed improves with upbeat music, while memory seems to benefit from both upbeat and downbeat music.
Listening to music is also very beneficial for those who tackle repetitive tasks such as coding, content management, or social media. Pretty much any work is done on the computer but it’s best to listen to instrumental music as vocals tend to shift your focus away from the task at hand.
