Ella Media Invites Latina Bloggers To SeaWorld Orlando’s Viva la Música Festival
Get ready to celebrate with a bit of Latin flavor. Melanie Edwards of Ella Media is proudly hosting the Digital Latinas Meetup which is presented by SeaWorld Orlando on Saturday April 14, 2012 for Florida digital Latina bloggers and their families in order to experience the festival.
Viva la Música is a special event at SeaWorld Orlando (@SeaWorld) where entire families celebrate the beautiful and diverse Latino culture featuring food, drink and music together with live salsa and merengue performances from award-winning Latin musical artists, original Latin arts and crafts, and true Latin cuisine. Speaking of Latin musicians, merengue artist Elvis Crespo will be the first to perform on opening day.
We’re very proud to be the only major theme park that celebrates the Latin culture with a Hispanic-focused event,” said Maribel Alicea, SeaWorld Orlando Viva la Mύsica Project Manager. “As the media environment continues to evolve, we recognize that social media plays an integral role in marketing all of our events. This year, we’re excited to have the opportunity to partner with Ella Media to showcase Viva la Mύsica to a diverse group of Latina bloggers and further reach the Latin community.
In an earlier blog I posted, bloggers have a wonderful ability to build a close relationship online which further cultivates offline through networking events, socials and conferences. I exemplify the Latina and mommy bloggers. They’re not only a strong source for marketing research and campaigns but they can build strong social circles based on their common interests such as family, health, product shopping and child raising. This leads to open collaboration and innovation. Melanie definitely sees this as an opportunity for hosting this festive event and to reach out to all Latina bloggers online.
I thought it would make for a nice piece on how theme parks are reaching the Latino consumers in the area with such culturally-specific events, and how partnering with Latinas benefits them in engaging with such an audience.”
Those who wish to attend can register online or if you can’t make it you can follow the event on Twitter at #SWOVivaLatina. If you have any questions you can tweet Melanie via @modernmami and @ellamedia.
