Normally when I do my blogposts I wait till I go home and start working on it on my desktop but if I’m out at a particular event with important topics that are shared like a meet up I tend to bring my laptop with me. My laptop is great but at times I find it a bit cumbersome to use in order to collect content such as pictures and videos as well as putting together blog drafts for later posting and communicating with fellow members of LATISM (Latinos in Social Media) about topics focusing on Latinos and online media technology through Twitter. Micro-blogs such as Tumblr and Posterous are the perfect platforms for today’s smartphones because it allows you to do quick postings of text, pictures, music, and videos and share it with your friends and fans.

The two things that will attract this particular smartphone to bloggers is that it features the fastest processor of any Android phone on the market and with Sprint’s 4G WiMax network, uploading and sharing content is a speedy process plus the long battery life will satisfy those who have to switch batteries or find an outlet to plug their smartphones in, I know how that is and trust me it gets tedious especially in the middle of blogging at a conference or special event.
If the Samsung Epic isn’t the smartphone for you, take your time doing research and find a smartphone that’ll fit your personal blogging needs. Checking for network connectivity, speed, interactivity, apps and multimedia capabilities are some of the elements that you should consider before making a purchase.
