A Visit to the Latino Cultural Center of Dallas
Well, it took quite some time but I managed to complete a fun digital video project about the Latino Cultural Center of Dallas. This was a video project that I felt was a great way to help promote the knowledge of Latino art and culture here in Dallas. I would like to thank the center’s media coordinator, Irasema Romero, for assisting me. You may know by now of what’s going on in the United States among the Latino population. Politics aside, I think we are so succumbed by the narrow stereotypes portrayed by mass media that some don’t even know the beauty of Latino art and culture and how they help contribute to American society. The Latino Cultural Center of Dallas helps to spread that knowledge to both Latinos and non-Latinos.

What’s great about the Latino Cultural Center is that they invite visitors to explore art galleries of all different kinds of visual mediums contributed by locally and nationally known Latino artists as well as live performances from Latinos from all parts of Latin America. The center also hosts their own special events and festivals for the entire family. Their website will offer further information and you can also follow their Facebook fanpage for up to date news, pictures and videos.
I highly recommend you pay a visit and if you live somewhere else besides Dallas, what cultural center where you live do you like to visit?
