Hispanic Communicators DFW Offers A Full Media Workshop On March 23, 2013
I’m very thrilled to be invited to be part of a panel discussion at the Hispanic Communicators DFW workshop being held at UT Arlington on March 23 starting at 9 a.m. called Conexiones: Closing the Spanish/English Media Gap. This organization is focused on educating today’s journalists, advertisers and students on how to communicate with the latest online technology and I think this workshop is an excellent venue for those who are passionate about the news industry but would like to adapt to new forms of communications.
This weekend’s topic is a particular important one. Study shows that Latino communities here in the United States are growing at a steady pace and with it their surprising behavior of adapting and using the latest technology to access the online media landscape, particularly mobile technology. The question also lies on how we can manage such an influx of communication tools to help reach our audience, whether it’s in English, Spanish, or both. If you want to delve deeper into these concepts you should definitely attend. There are also opportunities to share ideas, collaborate and network so don’t miss this opportunity to stay ahead of the online competition.
You still have time to register for a seat at this event and if you want to follow this organization out can visit their Facebook Fanpage. Hope to see you there!
Nice Job Frankie! Let’s get you involved in some more panels throughout the year.
