Learn Spanish SEO at The SES Conference and Expo
I was excited to find out that Google will be having offices in Latin America which shows that there is a growing interest in the Latino market and that means more emphasis will be placed on improving keyword optimization in the Spanish language. The Spanish language translated into English is challenging because Spanish words from various Latin American countries have different meanings and connotations. Fortunately, there are experts out there that have experience in providing vital education in this area and luckily some can be found at the 2011 SES Conference and Expo on March 21-25 in New York.
According to the website, the SES Conference & Expo is the leading global event series that educates delegates in search and social marketing, putting a special focus on tactics and best practices. SES Events provide instruction from the industry’s top experts, including representatives from the Search Engines themselves. Approximately 5,000 marketers and search engine optimization professionals attend SES New York each year to network and learn about PPC management, keyword research, SEO, social media, local, mobile, link building, duplicate content, multiple site issues, video optimization, site optimization, usability and more. SES New York will be packed with 70+ sessions, multiple keynotes, 100+ exhibitors, networking events and parties.
The Focus Latino Track will be on the second day on March 23 of the conference, and will feature speakers like Mark Lopez from Google and Giovanni Rodriguez from BroadVision. Latinvision is sponsoring the track. The sessions presented is the Focus Latino Introduction and Opening Keynote, Reaching Latinos Through SEO, Search and Social Marketing to Latinos and Analytics for the Latino Markets. Check the agenda schedule online for more detailed information. I really encourage those who want to learn more about SEO to attend.

Google opened its offices in Mexico at least 8 years ago, maybe more. Nevertheless, with the hiring of Mark Lopez to lead U.S. Hispanic recently and the company’s opening offices in Peru, Colombia, etc, now Google has taken a stronger position.
Have a great time at the conference Frankie!!
Thanks for the comment Joe. Unfortunately, I won’t be going to this year’s conference but hopefully next year.
So true Sylvia, deep research needs to be taken within the Latino community and targeted region before any marketing communication occurs within the Latino market.
It’s a big business that will grow and will definitely get bigger, it’s good that people over there have the opportunity to learn and make some good jobs off of this
