  1. Interestingly, it is not just techies who are promoting the introduction of coding in schools. Actors, musicians and sportsmen have pledged their support in wooing future programmers. A number of them believe that more computer science classes should be introduced in the public schools system, and it should be given equal importance compared to subjects such as physics, biology and chemistry. In today’s hyper-connected world, every student should learn coding so as to succeed in life, irrespective of students’ career ambition, they believe.

Society has become more adaptive to today’s technology with the ability to access to information and data. Combining scientific research and open source communication can lead to new discoveries and innovations.
